Pieces: Approximately 230
Minifigures: 3 (4 if you count Han Solo in Carbonite)
Overall Grade: B+
Lego 75137 Carbon-Freezing Chamber is not the set Star Wars Lego fans wanted. The potential for this set with a larger piece count (somewhere between 600-800) was incredible. There was an opportunity for a set that included Leia, Lando, and Lobot. Alas, that is not what Lego produced.
Perhaps my B+ grade is a product of residual disappointment. I may be holding a bit of a grudge, but overall I feel that, even at 230 pieces, 75137 is a good set. The play features, particularly the freezing process, are very good. The overall look of the set, albeit small, is good. Lots of nice translucent orange pieces adorn the set.
Overall, for a $20-30 US price point, I think that it’s a set worth having. But it could have been so much more…
